Trade of the day

Bayern Munich v Juventus 7.45pm

Good afternoon all. Plenty of games today in the CL with Man United and Chelsea in action as well as Real Madrid and AC Milan. But the one trade that sticks out is the Bayern Munich v Juventus game. Both sides have been scoring fairly freely and we feel there will be at least 2 goals in this match. Look to back the 2-1 scoreline with a small addition on the 2-2 scoreline. We would let this run until 60 minutes and if still no goals look to either red up across the board or cover the under 1.5 market for insurance/hedge.

As an additional trade the first goal market for 0-10 at 5.4 and under 2.5 at 2.04 make the XT Starter an ideal trade.

Good luck.

Post match round up

Not a successful trade but not a disaster either. The 0-0 stalemate as happens so often when you take an initial viewpoint that there will be goals caused us to take stock at HT. Looking at a £50 red on the CS market we advised the best option was to back Under 1.5 goals. This is not an easy move to make as you`re increasing your potential liability at this point rather  than reducing it. For new traders to the football markets this is one of the hardest things to do. Conversely, one of the easiest things for a new trader to do is ….do nothing! Bad move people. Always be reactive, don`t act like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

… the upshot was the game remained 0-0 and that HT back of Under 1.5 goals reduced our liability from £50 to £9 (note: one trader in the Webinar room last night suggested £2 on 2-0 & 0-2 scorelines with 10 mins of the game remaining. A good call in my opinion as two goals would have meant we lost on the CS market and the Under 1.5 market…a combined hit of over £100

  1. What sort of proportions would you recommend between the 2-1 and 2-2?

  2. hey ads and bingo,

which should the stakes on 2-1 and 2-2 in relation be ?
I mean for instance 20 on 2-1 and 20 on 2-2 or shall one be more/less than the other ??
Maybe you can give an example like yesterday 🙂

    • Hi guys,

Proportions were discussed in the room. We will try and put out the staking plan next time on the blog.
