Trade of the day

SUNDERLAND v ASTON VILLA  Carling Cup 19.45

Both teams come into this game tonight on the back of weekend defeats. The Carling Cup may or may not be a priority for some managers – Villa`s manager, Martin O`Neill, is being reported as putting out a weakened side tonight – but we think Sunderland should edge this.

LAY DRAW  +  BACK 1-1

We will be in the chat room trading this game. At 1-0 or 0-1 if you have the 1-1 covered then you can either stay in the trade knowing 1-1 is covered. IF the game goes to 2-1 or 1-2 as you will have no cover on 2-2 you would need to then back the draw. But we will be in our room to answer questions etc.

See you there.

Post match round up

A disappointing result for sure for all involved. Teh dreaded 0-0 that traders generally hate! For those in the room many scalped the liability down and the advice was to red up at half time on match odds but leave open the 1-1 trade. If Kenwyn Jones hadnt scuffed the penalty one commentator described as the worst penalty he’d seen there would have been a glimmer of hope on the 1-1 or allowed us to lay some of that off. Others also backed under 1.5 when the price was 1.52 to reduce losses.

An amazing turnaround considering the last 19 out of 20 games for these 2 sides has had them scoring at least 1 goal so the stats were in our favour and hence the advice.

Still well ahead for the month though like last month and losing trades are inevitable. Something that has to be accepted, it’s not a sprint but a marathon.
