Trade of the day

Dagenham v Morecambe 13.30pm

Who I hear you ask?! Well this is a big play off game for both sides with the chance of a Wembley final and a chance of promotion to League One.

Team news probably won’t mean a lot to most of us but here it is.

Dagenham boss John Still will have a near-full squad to choose from for the first leg of their League Two play-off semi-final with Morecambe.

Stuart Thurgood is out (knee) and fellow midfielder Peter Gain sits on 14 yellow cards so may not be risked.

Morecambe will be without midfielder Craig Stanley, who has picked up a hamstring injury, so Will Haining is likely to deputise.

On-loan striker Phil Jevons is the other absentee with a calf problem.

Stats and form

• These clubs have met each other on 24 occasions in Conference, Conference play-off and League Two encounters, and there is nothing to choose between them.

• Each club has won nine, with six drawn.

• Morecambe had the better of this season’s league clashes with a 1-0 home win in April, following a 1-1 draw in East London in September.

Dagenham have won the last 5 out of 6 at home an Morecambe have won 3 and lost 3.

This looks to be a closely tight tie with Dagenham holding the edge. 8 out of the last 12 games have gone to overs so let’s try something low risk with a good potential if the game goes our way. By covering 2-1, 2-2 and under 2.5 IF the game finishes unders we’ll have a scratch trade, (plus we can add to it if necessary within the game). Our banker is 2-2 with a big fat green we can reduce if and when goals go in…….

Back under 2.5

Back 2-1

Back 2-2

Try for best price ie 10s and 18.5/19s.

Good luck, bingo is off so I will be trading this in the Vets Room.

Post match round up

Only one side turned up for this! and it wasn’t Morecambe. A losing trade and a freak result it must be said.
