Trade of the day – Tues, 29 June

SPAIN v PORTUGAL  19.30pm

Expect to see Portugal play their defensive game that has seen them keep 22 clean sheets in their last 26 matches.
The Spanish have at least had some practice this tournament playing against the kind of setup Portugal will adopt tonight. Unfortunately for Del Bosque and his boys, they lost 0-1 to Switzerland
All last 16 games to date have gone Over2.5 goals. Be a surprise if that trend continues here.

The first bet – rather than trade – that stands out is Spain in the Corners Match bet market.
Against Switzerland & Honduras Spain had approx 68% possession and racked up 12 corners in each game to the oppositions` 4 and 2 respectively.
Spain to win most corners @ 1.70 looks worth a nibble

NB. This market can be traded in-play

Trade

BACK Spain  – 0/ -0.5  Asian Handicap
BACK 0-0
BACK 0-1
BACK 1-1

The handicap here means that you lose entire stake if Portugal win…half stake if a draw.
So I`ve weighted stakes heavily on 1-1 as a way to compensate should Portugal score first

Post match roundup

Spain ran out comfortable winners as did we. Return of 23% on investment + a nice extra bit of bubble with the corners match bet returning £30 profit for £50 stake
