Trade of the day Tues 14 December

Pre match update.

We’re going to cancel this Trade tonight. A few reasons, been reading some bad reports about Motherwell, not played for a month, now managerless of course, plus speaking to a couple of contacts things are not well there at all. Liquidity is just on the cusp too in the CS market so let’s cancel this Trade. Apologies, will be in the room in about 30 mins so see you then, perhaps we can see some in play trades to do.

Afternoon all,

Hope some of you got on the LTD last night as per email we sent out. One of the few occasions sat down without laptop and watched the game as depressing as it was! Arsenal to win the league? No chance. United always have the edge over the Gunners. Anyway enough of that depressing talk. Not much today but if liquidity hits £25k at KO in CS market lets try a CunderS in Scotland with some cs cover.

Motherwell v Hearts 19.45pm

  • Motherwell have won their last three games against the Jambos, each time by a two-goal margin.
  • John Sutton has scored in each of these matches against Hearts.
  • In their last match at Fir Park (4-0 vs St Johnstone), Motherwell kept their first league clean sheet at home since February.
  • Hearts are on a run of four straight league wins: all by a 2-0 scoreline. No side has ever had the same scoreline in five consecutive SPL matches.
  • Hearts have scored seven goals from outside the box in the SPL this season, more than any other side.
  • The Steelmen have hit six goals in the opening 15 minutes of SPL matches this season, a league-high.

Back under 2.5

Back the following
2-1, 1-2, 2-2

All important stakes out to members.

See you in vets room later.

  1. Hi,
I think your analysis of this game is way off the mark.Hearts now have 5 straight wins(the last being 5-0 on saturday).
Motherwell are now managerless and getting caught up in a media slanging match.
Overs and a Hearts win is the most likely!!

  2. Not sure that “way off the mark” is entirely fair! As it happened 1-2 was a correct call but the end result is less important than the in play moves we make for the trade advised.
Scottish football is not usely on our radar so we were on unfamiliar ground to anextent.
Thanks for the comment though as that + other criteria did prompt us to cancel the trade before KO
