Trade of the day Tues 15 Feb

The day has finally arrived when we, officially, unveil the all new and sparkling – Without exception, all the hard work has been completed by Bingo, who has toiled day and night to deliver a wonderful new site, and what a job he’s done. Please heap praise upon him.

For you, our members, the TOTD will be in Vets. Bingo and the, newly named, Training Room plus FREE Webinar will play host to potential new members who will also trade the same game and strategy…If you would like an invite for the FREE Webinar please drop us a line here.

Champions League action is back so let’s add a few £££/euros to our accounts. Last time we traded Spurs in Italy we were in profit within 10 minutes with 2 quick early goals. We feel there will be at least 2 goals in this game.

AC MILAN v SPURS 19.45pm

  • Spurs have already played once at the San Siro this season, losing 4-3 to Inter in the Group Stage.
  • Spurs have scored a joint-competition-high 18 goals in the Champions League this season.
  • Spurs have lost two and drawn one of their three trips to Italy in European competition.
  • Milan have been knocked out at this stage by an English team in the last two seasons.
  • Milan drew the first two, won the next pair and have lost the last two home matches in the Champions League against English opposition.

Milan recent home form is 3-2-1, (13-5 goals) Spurs away 3-1-2, (7 for, 9 goals against). Milan are currently top in Serie A and Spurs 3rd, (although a Chelsea win tonight will see Spurs in 4th)

Team News

Tottenham’s Gareth Bale is out of the Champions League last-16 first-leg match against AC Milan on Tuesday after failing to recover from a back injury.

The Welshman, who has been a revelation for Spurs in the past year, did not travel with the squad to Italy on Monday despite hopes he might be fit.

That will mean another chance for the rejuvenated Niko Kranjcar, while Rafael van der Vaart (calf) will also play.

Peter Crouch (back) is a doubt, though, as is Luka Modric (appendicitis).

It means boss Harry Redknapp’s side could line up at the San Siro with something resembling a skeleton first XI, with long-term absentees Tom Huddlestone, Ledley King and Younes Kaboul, as well as the suspended Jermaine Jenas, also unavailable.

Serie A leaders AC Milan will be without ineligible January signings Antonio Cassano, Mark van Bommel and Urby Emanuelson.

That would mean coach Massimiliano Allegri deploying a three-man front line of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho and Alexandre Pato, with few attacking options on the bench and key midfield duo Andrea Pirlo and Massimo Ambrosini also out through injury.

  1. Am not sure what you means by coverS, but if you back Over 2.5
isn’t that the same as laying 0-1 ?

    • Hi Barry

Not quite as we have no cover on 0-2. We stake the CoverS appropriately so there is a certain % cover on scores like the above. We’re hoping for a Milan goal first half ideally which eliminates the 0-0, 0-1, 0-2 etc. At that point we have cover on the home scores PLUS overs. 0-0, 0-1 and we will trade it accordingly and if need be a limited loss.

The CoverS as a strategy works very well but like any Strategy the game needs to go your way to fully maximise profit. An early goal to Spurs and we can still gain a profit or at worst a scratch trade.
